2023 Jaguar F-Pace: Everything You Need to Know

Jaguar went from a luxury sedan manufacturer to a luxury SUV manufacturer; it couldn't be truer since there is only one car left in the British brand's lineup compared to 3 SUVS. However, this is far from being a bad thing since those SUVS are transporting the same emotion and feelings when you drive them.

The F-Pace is Jaguar's last old-fashioned model, and we couldn't be sadder about it. Don't get me wrong here. I am the first to embrace innovation and development, but I have had the chance to experience the brand for the good part of the last ten years. For this period, Jaguar has literally been the closest thing Europe could have to an American muscle car company. V8S, superchargers, muscular shape, and dynamic driving were available for pretty much all vehicles in the Jaguar lineup. Things are very different today, except for the F-Pace.

Prices

The 2023 Jaguar F-Pace isn't exactly cheap. Its price starts at $63,900, which is $10,000 more than the competition on average. However, the British SUV offers better standard equipment and less expensive additional equipment, like you can find in the Mercedes-Benz or BMW lineup. So, at the end of the process, the F-Pace is not more expensive than its competition.

There are four different versions in the F-Pace lineup, starting with the S model. Next in line is the F-Pace R Dynamic S, with a starting price of $66,050 for the P250 engine and $74,400 for the P400 engine. The Face Pace SVR sits at the top of the lineup with a cost of $101,400.

Three engine choices.

The 2023 Jaguar F-Pace offers three engine choices, starting with a relatively modest 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder producing 247 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. This motor is perfect if you like the look and the comfort of the F-Pace, and you don't want to ruin yourself with gas prices. This powertrain is good for 10.7 L/100 km in the city and 8.7L/100 km on the highway, which is very good for a vehicle this size. Like every other powertrain, the 2.0 liter 4 cylinders is combined with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system.

The P400 version is equipped with a turbocharged and supercharged 3.0-litre 6-cylinder that makes 395 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. Then here comes the SUV version with its supercharged 5.0-litre V8. This engine produces 543 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. This is enough for the F-Pace to reach 100 km/h in less than 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 286 km/h.
